This showroom was meant to be eye-catching, and it certainly succeeded! Focus was chosen to create a one-story addition and a two-story mezzanine to the existing highway storefront. The addition consists of both a new showroom and offices on the first level, elevators and stairs for accessing storage on the second level, and a two-story glass motorcycle display.

The location that now houses Real McCoy’s had been a popular local hangout for years, so when the owners of Real McCoy’s called Focus to renovate the space, they knew they had a challenge ahead of them. They wanted to create an entirely different atmosphere for the new restaurant, and they had only one month in which to do it. In the process of the renovation, Focus was able to locate additional square footage, allowing the Owners to double the size of their kitchen and be more efficient and profitable.

Pharmacy Bottle and Beverage
This project represented much more than the typical brick-and-mortar renovation. The existing building on East Chatham Street in downtown Cary housed Mitchell’s Pharmacy from 1950-1990, and was purchased by the Town of Cary in 2011 in hopes of finding a tenant capable of aiding the Town in its revitalization efforts. Pharmacy Bottle and Beverage leased the one-story space from the Town of Cary, creating a very unique contractual situation as Focus worked with both entities to renovate the building. Anyone who has renovated an older building understands the challenges that can arise, and this project was no different from that aspect. Focus completely renovated the space, creating a decor that can be described as “industrial meets natural”, with exposed steel beams, ceilings, and ductwork, stained concrete floors, and wood-topped tables. Behind the bar, white subway tiles and modern chrome taps balance with chalkboards to continue the theme. Massive slide-open windows stretch across the front of the building, inviting the outdoors in, and creating a cohesive flow of atmosphere. As one customer stated, “It just screams, ‘sit down and stay a while’”.

Keller Williams, Brier Creek
Completed in 2017, this project was a first generation tenant office fit-up in the popular Brier Creek area of Raleigh, NC. Designed specifically to meet the family-style needs of the dynamic Keller Williams real estate model, this open floor plan includes perimeter private offices, multiple meeting rooms, break rooms, IT specialty rooms, a beautiful reception area, customer service areas, and the unglamorous but always-necessary storage spaces.
