Located in Wake Forest, NC, this office renovation project for Mitchell & Nemitz transformed approximately 7,000+ square feet into a seamless, unified workspace. Completed in 6 months, the project required meticulous planning, phased construction, and constant communication to meet the needs of this busy CPA firm.
The renovation began with Mitchell & Nemitz occupying half of the second floor, while the neighboring tenant’s space became available for expansion. In Phase 1, we moved the firm across the hallway, demoed the neighboring suite, and updated it with new plans and finishes. Once Phase 1 was complete, Phase 2 eliminated the hallway, creating a single, cohesive office space that supported the firm’s operations and client experience.
As a CPA firm, Mitchell & Nemitz required a quiet environment for focused work and confidential client interactions. Keeping construction noise, dust, and disruptions to a minimum was critical. To address these challenges, we implemented a phased approach, used temporary partitions to separate active construction areas, scheduled after-hours work when necessary, and maintained open lines of communication with the client and their downstairs neighbors.
The result is a thoughtfully designed office space that meets the unique needs of Mitchell & Nemitz, providing a professional, distraction-free environment for both employees and clients. By overcoming logistical challenges and ensuring minimal disturbance during the renovation, we delivered a space that supports the firm’s operations and reflects their commitment to excellence.
