Focus Design Builders took an abandoned gas station and turned it into a bottle shop and bar. The interior of the building was full of mildew and mold and the exterior was lacking in appeal. Focus developed the concept for the bottle shop and completely cleaned and disinfected the interior of the building and built a retaining wall across the back to better control water flow on the property. An additional parking lot was created as well as re-pavement of the existing parking. Awnings were added to the exterior to allow for additional outdoor seating. The interior received a complete face lift with new windows, paint, flooring, ceiling, lighting, built-in cooler with beer taps as well as new restrooms, office, and storage room. This was a special project for Focus Design Builders because we were able to revive a small downtown by just re-imagining an old gas station into a hip, new, hangout for locals. This project changed the landscape & culture of downtown Youngsville.
